Swimmers brave Boxing Day swims in Tenby and Pembrey

More than 1,000 people have braved icy waters to take part in Boxing Day outdoor swims across south Wales.

The 47th annual swim in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, had a comic characters fancy dress theme this year.

While the Pembrey Country Park Walrus Dip, at Cefn Sidan, in Carmarthenshire, is in its 32nd year.

The National Lido of Wales in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf was also open to swimmers for the second Boxing Day running.
